Here is your chance to scream your lungs out and not have the neighbours complaint! Scream and win Samsung Galaxy Note!!
As the sun came up over Piccadilly Circus on Good Friday the usual sounds of London buses, police sirens and the chatter of tourists taking photos around Eros were punctuated by something slightly unusual. Crowds of people were gathering and seemingly screaming and shouting at the top of their voices in a small huddle, all encouraged by people wearing over-sized Angry Bird costume heads.
The reason??? Well, it’s obvious of course, the global phenomenon that is Angry Birds had teamed up with the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, Samsung enabling members of the public to play a specially designed crowd game on Samsung’s iconic Piccadilly Circus screen. The public were also invited to have their picture taken and share an Easter message with the help of the Samsung Angry Birds team.
The Samsung team, showcasing the Samsung Galaxy Note and inviting members of the public to try out all the many functionalities of the handset. Armed with Angry Birds props, all pictures were taken on the Samsung Galaxy Note and sent to the Samsung Piccadilly screen and later posted to the Samsung Mobile UK Facebook page.
Members of the public were invited to shout into the Samsung Galaxy Note that was connected wirelessly to the Samsung Piccadilly Circus screen. The game has been designed in such a way that the louder the crowds shouted, the further the Angry Birds fly across the screen and the higher the score…. We’ve taken some great photos which posted to the Samsung Mobile UK Facebook page.

CUPPING anyone?
I bought Yin and Yang massage voucher from LivingSocial. I've been dying and excited to go for a massage. It has been too long!
I went in there to just have normal massage and hopefully ease my stiff and painful back and shoulders. I told her that it has been giving me a lot of problem and she suggested cupping to me. I've seen it online on youtube and find it rather disgusting and scary! Since she said she will do the treatment for me free of charge - hey! why not! haha
So.. what is cupping?
(source from http://www.cuppingtherapy.net/)
Cupping therapy is the method of using glass or plastic cups to create localized pressure by a vacuum. The Chinese have been doing this since ancient times by using heat inside glass or bamboo cups. Nowadays, cupping sets use suction to create the vacuum. The vacuum inside the cups causes the blood to form in the area and help the healing in that area.
Ancient Chinese medicine have believed that the body contains "Meridians". These meridians are pathways in the body which the energy of life called Qi ("chi") flows through. It flows through every body part, tissue, and organ. Cupping therapy is mainly performed on one's back because there are five meridians on your back. When these meridians are opened, the internal energy is able to flow through the whole body.
Another healing aspect of cupping therapy is through the release of toxins in your body. The suction from the cups can penetrate deep into your tissues causing the tissues to release harmful toxins. It triggers the lymphatic system, clears the blood vessels, and stretches and activates the skin.
Cupping therapy has been found in ancient records dating back 3500 years and it is still used today by many alternative medicine practictioners. New advancements in technology and materials have been integrated with cupping therapies and its uses now range for many different treatments and applications.

| How Cupping Therapy Works |
| Cupping therapy works by reducing the pain we feel in our bodies. In alternative medicine, pain is believed to be caused by problems relating to your Qi flow. This can be related to stress in the body, imbalances of hormones and fluids, lack of blood flow, and temperature in the muscles and joints. When a suction cup is place on a problem area, the vacuum pull of the cup creates warmth and circulation in the area. Very soon, you will feel that the pain is reduced. In Chinese medicine, all the organs are connected together. So if you have a problem with one organ, it can affect the health of other parts of your body. For example, it is believed that the kidneys are connected to a persons aging. A person with an imbalance or disease in the kidneys will experience more graying of the hair, wrinkled and dry skin, etc. The use of cupping therapy has many benefits and can be applied in many treatments. Some of the conditions cupping therapy can be used in are:
The Results? It kinda ease the pain at my back.. but I am really not sure that I don't feel the pain because of the bruise from the cupping or what. haha.. The treatments is not painful. Just imagine a strong vacuum cleaner on your back! haha. I only feel the pain when i'm lying on my back.. ouch... My whole back looks like I got abused real badly... |

Fash Blash Is the Official Owner of A GUITAR!!!
I've always wanted to learn the guitar. It feels "cool". You know, going to the beach and strumming the guitar away.. haha. Anyways, when I was 16, my mum gave me the option to take music classes - drum or guitar. Of course, I took drum classes instead because its so much cooler! I was obsessed with the Corrs at that time and I like Caroline Corr - I think she is just so cool and I want to be like her *blush* Should had taken guitar classes instead!! After more than 10 years of contemplating to go for classes, I finally decided to make it into one of my 2012 new year's Resolution!! Ta Daaaaaa!!!
My new baby- Yamaha C-70 :)
Oh yes, I got a good price for it. The process of buying this guitar is pretty interesting. Haha. As a self proclaimed bargain hunter, buying a guitar and knowing it's a bargain it is pretty impossible to do. First of all, I have no clue whatsoever on this... None... So I have no sources to compare to and furthermore it is an impulse buy. But knowing me, of course I'll still look for a good deal. As far as I am concerned, c70 and c40 is considered as a safe choice, so I decided to stick with it.. but not many shops sells yamaha here for some reasons. C40 is the more basic one and it's supposed to be cheaper than c70 correct? I think I was in more than 5 shops.. To check the guitars out- asking and comparing. Tedious job because I was so confused- too many guitar models and different prices. The last shop, is a yahama shop. So I asked them for the price. C40 they selling for aed380 and c70 about aed 500. And I told the guy, alright then I'll get c40 because it's cheaper! Then after that I remembered the first shop I went to was selling about aed395 but I'm not sure which model was it.. Silly me. So I walked all the way to the first shop- the other end just to satisfy my curiosity because I really can't remember what model it was. I had to gamble right! If it's selling c40 for aed395 in the first shop means I'm screwed because I had to walk all the way back to the last shop to get the guitar. But if it's c70 for that price means, jackpot! No brainer. Buggers! So this is my guitar story.
